I am officially one semester closer to moving to montana. i honestly think there is only one other person in the world that understands this itch i have, and i get to see her in march out in montana. my cousin Rachel.
Well i am home for about 2 weeks.
This first week is filled with seeing my camp family. Some people wouldn't grasp the concept of me saying camp family. However they really are, i am pretty much closer to them than i am to my own family, i guess that is what i get for working at buckskin for 4 1/2 years haha. So i am waiting in anticipation for the days filled with them this week <3
Also my brother is flying in from Dallas wednesday morning YAY! so i am hopefully going to get some good quality brother time in.
*side note i have a mint chocolate candle from Bath and Body Works... and usually i hate all things chocolate but this smell just rocks!**
Anyways..
Sometimes i forget how much i miss the cities until i am back here, getting to do all the things i love and get to see all the awesome things around. But i am super thankful to have my friends up north that distract me from having bad homesickness.
So far i have just one of my grades back from this semester but i am proud to say it is an "A" in my Sociology class... :-D
I am still trying to patiently wait for my other grades to come in. haha.
My best friend's baby will be here in only 2 months... I am sooooo excited to meet my God daughter!!!!
Little miss Amira :) hurry on up the world wants to meet you!!!
I seriously need to start photographing my ceramics so i can put it up on my facebook page and start my website. man oh man hello starving artist and college student... great combo ehh? haha
Well anyways this last semester was a great one...making new great friendships and learning which friends are great ( if that makes sense?). Next semester is overload for me i am used to going part time but hello full time 16 credits. Although it help me achieve my dream of Montana. I love where i am in life though with school, friends and, family.
Alrighty can't think of anything to write right now. I shall be updating more since i have more time over break. woohooo!

future job?
i was just thinking this... cause i miss having a kitchen i love baking, cooking and creating things inside and out of the kitchen like crafts....
I wonder if there is a job out there where people hire someone to come in and cook for them and make things for them... if so this would be a KICK ASS job that i wish i had!
Oh man how sweet would it be to be like ohhh my office is now *insert name*'s house today. but on thursday i am at *insert name*'s house.
like i said...kick ass!!!!
Life is crazy though but with school and stuff. the art show is coming up. i gotta go in early in the morning so i glaze some stuff for ceramics and all that fun stuff. Kinda excited to be done with ceramics just for one reason... i can dress cute and not worry about getting dirty anymore. lol. i know that is a conceited excuse but that is the truth. i will seriously miss it with all my heart though.
hmm
I seriously need more photos with my friends that i can hang up.
to apply to summer camps or to no? that is the question boggling my mind... cause i am not sure if i am doing summer courses or not... i was talking with my dad and our method we figured out was....
i apply and if i don't get any of the positions i apply for then i will just sign up for summer credits. Good deal? i think so. sooo let the application process commence!
I really should be doing my sociology homework but i am writing this instead i feel like i haven't written in forever but boooyahh i am...
I was just home for thanksgiving and had a baking frenzy ( hence future job?). I baked 2 different kinds of cookies and 2 different kinds of chex mix stuff.
i made some super cute reindeer cookies!!!!

I am now just getting the jist of twitter and these things called #hashtags.... i seriously had to google how to use twitter.... haha yes i am that awesome? haha
Well i drove all the way up from the cities today back up to Superior. it was pretty great. I learned who my new driving buddies are.... Death Cab For Cutie and Adele.... oh yes. they know how to make me sing.
seriously i am addicted to Adele. her music is so amazing and full of soul! i love it. check it out if you don't know who she is!
Alright i think i have wrote enough for one night time to go watch Eat Pray Love and try to get something done...if not homework some painting. hehe.

Sorry Sorry
ohhh Rooney ( the band) makes me smile.
Hmm lets see what is new in my life?
I am finally going home for the second time this semester for Thanksgiving. Sadly my brother will not be there but when christmas comes around he shall be around :) yay!
Rewind will be in the Duluth area tomorrow so i get to see her for a meal or some coffee... gosh i love getting together with camp friends! I was going to type something important but i forgot what it was...
Oh now i remember...
The Montana moving date has moved back, i am in the process of signing up for classes next semester and such, i saw what i have left to do... and it would just make more sense for me to finish my A. A degree then move on out. Also i am switching my major to social work with a minor in art.
If i knew i would have a secure job after college I would go for my B.F.A degree maybe even M.F.A ha. but all that would get me is working somewhere and doing what i love once in a while. With social work i get to work with the kind of kids i love and i still get to do art :) in moderation haha.
I am in the process of making a website for my photos and crafts and arts stuff... but so far all i got is my facebook page... Molin Arts ( go like it hehe).
So life has been pretty awesome lately. So thankful for everything going on. Good and bad ha. After the next 2 days i will start blogging more i promise i am just sooo busy cause it is the last 2 days to work with raw clay in the school ceramics studio so i must pump out as much as possible.
Good night world.

thai food and thoughts
I would like to start this blog entry by saying that i sure love Chicken Red Curry. yum yum in my tum.
Also that Pan AM is my new favorite TV show you should really check it out!
Also that Pan AM is my new favorite TV show you should really check it out!
It is so light hearted but awesome and dark. ha i would never be a good show critic I can not write a good review about anything..well i can, it is just hard for me to put it into words.
Anyways, life is a roller coaster lately. some amazing ups and some crazy downs. It is crazy what God has been putting in my life lately and it makes me so excited for everything to come in the future.
I have officially decided i am going to move out to Montana if i get into MSU or not. The soonest i would move out there would be June 2012...otherwise i will officially be out there by the end of September 2012. so 7-9months and I will be living in the mountains. Learning new ways of life and knowing i will be so scared but loving every step of the way.
I find it funny it is 16 hours to Montana from where in MN I am. and it is 16 hours down to my brother's in texas. i love how us siblings are moving in a pattern. I am very surprised though that I am not moving out east though. Like i said earlier it is nuts what God puts in your path for you, and how you trust him and many other things fall into place and make life amazing.
I couldn't ask for better parents and friends to help support me in this huge life decision.
Just last night i emailed a Pottery shop/studio place out in Bozeman hopefully they get back to me and would accept me as an intern or even just as a volunteer to work in their studio/shop. That would be such a blessing.
Oh i am 1/3 a away from my christmas goal of finishing my books that are already started. I just really want to start my Steve Martin book but i must wait until i am done with my other 2 then i can. So Choke is done, it was good book kinda really made you think about life right at the end and was like...huh... kind of reaction but i liked it. Now to finish P.S I Love You... it is so different from the book it is nuts! but so good. I like it a lot. After this it is Twilight. Ha 2 of the biggest books that i am hopefully gonna finish probably by my birthday hahaha.
Oh for halloween my did this super cute idea she cut out an add for dog costumes and she then took pictures of my brother's dogs and tape them over the faces of the other dogs, it is super cute. I am more impressed with my mother's copy and paste abilities. lol. here it is-
from left to right : Henry, Logan and, Coby
She even said these are my grand-pups... oh my i love my mom haha. I sometimes wish i still lived at home so we could have craft time. lol. Who knows what we would share and giggle about.
I am so glad i have such a great relationship with my parents these days, it makes up for the friendships that are no more. I know that is a harsh thing to say, but lately i have been realizing who are genuine friends and who are the ones to weed out of my life.
Alright i feel like i did an efficient amount of blogging for not doing it for a while. Must got read and take notes for my sociology discussion tomorrow.

a new week.
so just a thought i really want to get out there.... lately like in the last day or so... i have been thinking of switching my major, to social work with a minor in art.. but then just tonight...why not just get either a BFA or MFA.... be an artist...get a wheel and have my own studio.. i know it would take tons of hard work and i would be pretty much broke..but isn't that what life is about? doing what you desire the most and succeed at it? I don't know that has been pulling at me lately...
anyways... tomorrow i head down to the cities for an Arts conference/symposium/festival I went last year, to Moorhead where it was... it was seriously amazing did some awesome workshops! this year i am doing even cooler ones :-D
See art is just amazing to me..even if it is the smallest little arts and crafts project i love it.
I GET TO MAKE A SCARF LIKE THIS :
anyways...so i will be down doing that until wednesday..then back up in duluth/superior for two days then headed back to the cities again but going home to my parents so i get to spend some quality time with my mom. i am excited. alright i am tired/excited i should go finish my movie and get some sleep haha...
good night world.

As March keeps approaching faster and faster i am so excited to road trip it out to montana with my dad! Actually i was talking with him on the phone last night.. and lately i have realized i have always been a daddy's girl.. and i am glad about it? i don't know if it is a thing that people should be boasting or happy about..but i am. I love him so much.
Anyways... yeah that road trip shall be fun.. i can see it already my music...his music.. and our corny jokes and stories.. yup i am SO excited..putting a playlist together already for it.
I can't believe how busy my life has been lately. I am happy about it but man it is rushing by me like no other. I am thankful for it though everything i do.. good and bad.. i learn in some way from it.
Well the art confrence is next week! so hello twin cities! I am so pumped for it! my workshops i will be in are:
Nuno Scarf Making

American Raku
Alright i don't know what else to ramble about at the moment so i am going to leave this blog with one of my favorite verses from the Bible...
" What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us who can ever be against us." - Romans 8:31

end of the week and month
Wow this month has flown by....and this week. The season has finally changed to fall up here. It is so beautiful. it is seriously one of my most favorite seasons we have. the colors the cool air. it is all amazing. I am now 6 weeks into school mid terms in 3 weeks. wow it is nuts how the time is flying by.
A lot of amazing things have been happening lately, it seems like MSU has my name written all over it. Just gotta get a good score on my ACT's so i can get good scholarships. Also i have talked with my dad we are headed out to Bozeman in march to check out the campus and town. seriously no one has any idea how excited i am for this new chapter in my life. I seriously think God made it a point for me to move to the Duluth area and work up at camp. To have a great appreciation for nature and just life. Cause I know if i were to still be living in the cities i would still be surrounded by the filth that was holding me down before.
Anyways..
Oh so i have been having a great case study thought that has been happening to me lately. I know i may sound nuts but I don't care i am seriously doing this anyways here it is..
Wool Sock Study
I am looking for a positive correlation between wearing wool socks to sleep and having a good night's sleep. Also if there is a negative correlation between not wearing wool socks and having a bad nights sleep ( i.e- nightmares, waking up).
I started thinking about this the other day. This past weekend i started wearing wool socks to bed. then this past monday night i did not wear any to bed and it resulted in me having bad nightmares and kept waking up in the middle of the night. The next night ( Tuesday) I wore wool socks and slept like a baby. And now this brings me to last night ( Wednesday) I did not wear wool socks and could hardly sleep. I am going to continue this study. I am super interested about it.
I know i sound crazy. But oh well aren't some of the best discoveries made by people dubbed crazy?
Anyways I should get back to homework and all. Gotta get it all done by the morning before i leave town to go to my roommate's cabin. It will be a fun time... 4 wheeling and just being away from the twin ports and life for a couple of days! SOOO excited. Here are some of my pictures for people to see....

it has been awhile
wow i can't believe i haven't blogged in such a long time. And it is kinda funny how many blogs i have open. But i am going to try and start using just one i promise lol. But where to begin?
This summer was an interesting summer. spent some of it working in a professional ceramics studio another part babysitting...and a few weeks working up at camp buckskin again. Luckily i got to spend time with my family and at my cabin actually in the summer. It was rockin.
Seriously i can't believe i am a junior in college now..but i am about to be a freshman again. Transferring and all that fun stuff ya know. Actually a year from now i am planning on living out in the bozeman area working and prepping to attend Montana State University. It is crazy where life can take you and right now everything is pointing out there.
I am co-president of photo club now... still doing a lot with them but not as much i have done in the last year and a half. I feel like photo club is MINE! lol. I can't believe how much i love photography i got some great photos i need to put up on my facebook photography page but here are some for you guys to see.

the first one is of the lift bridge in Canal Park in Duluth. The other is obviously just abstract. I really want to start working with people more now. So i got to find a few people who would be willing to let me take pictures of them lol.
Ugh i am soooo sick it is not even funny about to down some generic nyquill and sleep for the night. got church in the morning and bringing a friend :) I love how amazing God is! just gotta say that :)
